Economics growth rate is calculated on the basis of rate of growth, compounded annually i.e. the growth of one year will be the part of the basis for the following year’s growth. The typical pattern of the growth of an expanding economy will be an exponential function of time. The primary objects of study in differential calculus are the derivative of a function, related notions such as the differential, and their applications. In mathematics, differential calculus is a subfield of calculus concerned with the study of the rates at which quantities change. It is one of the two traditional divisions of calculus, the other being integral calculus.

A maximum value of a function is one that is greater than any values immediately preceding or following. A minimum value of a function is one that is less than any values immediately preceding or following. In mathematics, the maximum and minimum of a function, known collectively as extrema are the largest and smallest value that the function takes at a point either within a given neighborhood or on the function domain in its entirety.

There are several closely related results that are variously known as the binomial theorem depending on the source. Even more confusingly a number of these (and other) related results are variously known as the binomial formula, binomial expansion. Binomial theorem describes the algebraic expansion of powers of a binomial. According to the theorem, it is possible to expand the power (x + y)ⁿ into a sum involving terms of the form ax^by^c, where the exponents b and c are nonnegative integers with b + c = n, and the coefficient a of each term is a specific positive integer depending on n and b. When an exponent is zero, the corresponding power is usually omitted from the term.

Combinations refer to different sets or groups made out of a given lot, without repeating an element, taking one or more of them at a time. If a number of things is given, each collection of things which can be made out of the above things is called  a combination.

Annuity is financial institutions that is designed to accept and grow funds from an individual and then, upon annuitization, pay out a stream of payments to the individual at a later point in time. Suppose, we want to make payment of Tk.5000 each year for 10 years to an account which earns 6 percent interest, compounded annually, and we want to calculate the total amount which will be in the account after 10 payments. This series of periodic payments is called an annuity.
